Our Ministries

Nursery
The nursery is designed to provide free, nurturing care to children 1-3 years old, so that parents and guardians can easily participate during all services and Bible studies (if needed). Your child’s safety and well-being is very important at Liberty View Baptist Church! We strive to provide a clean, pleasant, and friendly atmosphere where every child can experience God’s love through the nursery worker(s). Nursery workers have experience working with infants and toddlers. 

The Bible says “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” How we care for children now affects their futures! Depending on the age of the children present, we use a variety of toys, games, simple songs, and Bible stories for fun and learning on their level. You can fully trust that your children will be in the hands of workers who genuinely care for their souls!

Children
Children are the future of our church! The Bible says, “Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.” We want all children to enjoy learning about God and how they can know Him personally. We offer a dynamic children’s church in which children ages 5-12 will be dismissed to just before preaching. Their teachers will lead them in energetic Bible songs and a Bible lesson that encourages student participation.  Review games, Bible memory, and other activities add variety and fun. We want to teach children to enjoy learning truths from the Bible and to apply them. 

Parents can have confidence that their children’s teacher prays for them and prepares adequately before teaching. Teachers desired to show God’s love as they work with the children. 

What if I want my child to stay with me? Non-disruptive children may stay with their parents if desired, though the preaching service is geared toward adults. (Children’s church is designed to teach them on a level they can understand, and helps parents not to have distractions.)

Teens
Our youth group meets every Thursday evening @ 7 pm for a time of fellowship, Bible study, and worship.

Adults

Ladies
Our Ladies ministry meets every third Saturday @ 1 pm. Currently, we are working through a Bible Study called "When Women Say Yes To God". Join us for a time of closeness with each other and our God. 


Music
God created music so we could praise Him! Satan has tried to change its purpose into making people look good. We want the style and words of our music to bring admiration to the Lord and not to ourselves. In Ephesians 5:19, the Bible says, “Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;”

We use Christ-honoring music and singing to lift up the name of our Lord during all of our services! Congregational hymns and occasional special music are utilized for variety. Children also will learn some simple Bible-based songs in their classes as well. 

Visitation
Join us Saturday mornings @ 10:30 am for a time of prayer and outreach to those in our surrounding community. 

Discipleship
One on one Bible studies are a huge part of our ministry here at Liberty View Baptist Church. Many in our congregation meet together for personal Bible study one hour a week in order to mature and grow in their understanding and walk with the Lord. Currently, our adults use the curriculum entitled, "Journey" by John Honeycutt, while teens work through his student edition.

Missions
Liberty View Baptist Church has a heart for sharing the good news of the Bible with people both near and far away! The Bible says, “…Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” Offering generous prayer and financial support to those that are specifically fulfilling this great command from God is very important to us. Missionaries and church planters around the world are sacrificially giving their lives to obey God.

The Bible also states, “Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.” We do not know how much time we have on this earth. Because of this, we must use the time we have to tell others what we know to be true. We believe that every person that has accepted and believed in Jesus as the only one who can take away their sins has a personal responsibility to God, to share what He has done for them. Many have never heard the truth! Liberty View uses its missions emphasis to encourage believers to act as missionaries wherever they go.
